Jidong Wu

Jidong Wu graduated from Nanjing Medical School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1979, and practised Chinese medicine in a general hospital for four years. In 1986, Dr Wu completed his master's degree in medicine from Shanghai University of TCM. He then worked as a lecturer and consultant at Nanjing University of TCM. He was appointed as associated professor there in 1992.
Jidong came to England in 1993 as a visiting scholar. He has been engaged in Chinese medicine training and practising since then. He was the Programme leader of BSc TCM at Middlesex University - the first Chinese medicine degree programme in Europe. Currently he is a senior lecturer and Professional adviser to traditional Chinese medicine degree course at Middlesex University.
He is also lecturing at Dublin Acupuncture Foundation and Amsterdam, Netherlands. In June 2006, Jidong Wu finished his PhD project and awarded Doctor Degree in medicine in the field of acupuncture by the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
Dr Jidong Wu has been practising TCM at London and Cambridge area since 1994. He specialises in Acupuncture therapy for pain management. He is also interested in treating gynaecological disorders with Chinese medicine such as female infertility, PCOS. Dr Wu has engaged a research project - Chinese medicine treatment for colitis.
Dr Jidong Wu has been selected as a member by Department of Health sitting in the committee of Independent Review Panel for Borderline Medicine since 2000; He is also appointed as a Member of Herbal Medicine Advisory Committee (HMAC) under Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) under Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
Dr Wu is registered with The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) - a regulatory professional body for TCM in the UK; He was the president of ATCM from 2002-2006. He is a fellow member of ATCM. He is an honorary member of Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
Dong-Ni Chen

Dong-Ni was born in a Chinese medical practice family. Her father was a reputable Chinese medical doctor in Guangdong China who setting up a private practice, Jinan Clinic, in 1980s. Dong-Ni was embedded in this Chinese medical environment and helped her father in running this practice since then.
Dong-Ni was graduated from Foshan University, History Department in 1990 and qualified as a teacher. She then worked as a school teacher for 5 year. However, Dong-Ni found her interests are higher in the practice of Chinese medicine. She then joint Guangzhou University of TCM and gained a formal training in TCM for 4 year and qualified ad a TCM practitioner, worked in her father’s clinic for 5 years.
Dong-Ni moved to the UK in 1998 and has been practising acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Birmingham and Macclesfield since then.
Dong-Ni is registered with the Association of Traditional Chinese medicine (UK).
Dong-Ni's interests in practicing Chinese medicine:
